LatAm MNOs increasingly becoming OTT providers - study

A total of 34 mobile network operators in Latin America have already deployed their own OTT pay-TV service to their customers, according to a report from Dataxis. The survey of 170 mobile operators also revealed that a further 11 mobile networks provide third-party OTT platforms to empower their offer while 79 operators representing 59 percent of the market are still linked to traditional pay-TV offers.
