LatAm pay-TV growth to slow sharply in 2016-21 - study

Growth in pay-TV connections in Latin America will slow sharply in the period 2016-21 compared to the previous five-year period, hit by economic weakness and a maturing market, according to a report by Digital TV Research. Just 14 million new homes are expected to access pay TV over the period 2015-21, compared to the 27 million connections seen over the previous five-year period from 2010-15.
