LatAm pay-TV penetration to remain at 44% until 2023

The Latin American pay-TV sector posted flat year-on-year figures of just over 70 million subscriptions in 2017, with pay-TV penetration set to remain at 44 percent of households throughout the region over the next five years, according to the latest study by Digital TV Research. In fact, less than 5 million additional pay-TV subscribers are expected between 2017 and 2023 – bringing the total to almost 76 million.
