Lebanese govt extends decision to double Ogero internet speed because of Covid-19 restrictions

Monday 4 January 2021 | 10:28 CET | News
The Lebanese government has approved a request to extend the decision to double internet speed for Ogero subscribers, the Daily Star reported. The ministry of telecommunications said the decision, which was approved early in 2020 alongside Covid-19 preventive measures, has been extended temporarily until 31 March. It requires doubling internet rate for limited-speed subscriptions that have no consumption limits, and doubling the consumption capacity for subscriptions with limited capacities, within available technical possibilities and free of additional costs.
