Lebanon to get cheaper, faster internet on 1 October

Lebanon's Telecommunications Ministry will introduce new high-speed and cheaper internet services in the country on 1 October. The telecommunications minister Nicholas Sehnaoui said in remarks published by Al-Akhbar newspaper that the new tariffs and faster internet will go into effect 1 October. Sehnaoui said internet speeds would increase and subscription prices in general would be cheaper. Monthly download caps would also be between two to five times greater than current levels.
