Lebara to launch OTT video service

Lebara announced a new OTT video service at a partner event in London. Lebara's new Play video service will target its traditional audience of immigrants and people of different ethnic backgrounds, offering over 3,000 movies and 150 channels in 13 languages. Subscriptions will cost GBP/EUR 9.99 per month with no fixed contract. A year contract will cost the equivalent of ten months.  The company is also developing its own set-top box for the service, which will be offered at retailers at an introductory price of GBP/EUR 149 including a 12-month subscription.
