Lenovo to merge Spanish and Portuguese subsidiaries into Iberian unit

The Spanish subsidiary of China's Lenovo has decided to integrate the company's Portuguese unit into a single Iberian group, reports El Economista, citing new Lenovo Iberia CEO Alberto Ruano. The IT giant announced the organisational move at a meeting with clients, partners, distributors, employees and journalists held in Bucharest, where Ruano said Lenovo was looking to consolidate its lead in the local business PC market and reduce the gap with HP in consumer PC sales.
