LG acquires controlling stake in TV data, measurement firm Alphonso

LG Electronics said it invested nearly USD 80 million in US-based TV data and measurement firm Alphonso to bring together the two companies' technologies and innovations on LG's smart TV lineup. With this investment, LG will become Alphonso's largest investor with a controlling stake of more than 50 percent.
