LG Display says nothing decided on Google investment

LG Display has announced that nothing has been decided on Google Inc.'s potential investment in the company. LG Display's statement follows recent press reports claiming that Google plans to invest KRW 1 trillion (approximately USD 875 million) in LG Display's flexible OLED panels business, Yonhap news agency reports. In a regulatory filing sent to the Korean Exchange, LG Display says nothing has been concluded on the matter. LG Display also said that various clients have been taking a closer look at the global market for flexible OLED products.
