LG Electronics has announced the launch of the LG Action Camera, touted as the first action camera available globally with built-in 4G-LTE connectivity. The company said users will be able to stream directly to sites such as YouTube without needing to pair the camera with a smartphone. In addition to its live streaming feature, the device also offers remote access functionality via 3G and LTE, meaning it can be used as a CCTV camera for home monitoring or as an automobile dash camera.
