LG Uplus, Hatch to launch mobile cloud gaming service for 5G smartphones

South Korean operator LG Uplus has partnered with cloud gaming company Hatch to launch a game-streaming service for 5G smartphones. Gamers using the LG Uplus 5G network will be the first in South Korea to access Hatch's mobile cloud gaming service in March, Yonhap news agency reports. Hatch is a subscription service offering games for a flat monthly fee. According to LG Uplus, the 5G service will allow games on Hatch to be played instantly over the internet with no downloads or updates necessary.
