LG Uplus picks Dasan Zhone fiber access, mobile backhaul switches for 5G services

Dasan Zhone has signed a contract to provide South Korean operator LG Uplus with fiber-to-the-home services and switches, including co-development of 100 Gbps mobile backhaul switches for 5G mobile services. The 3-year contract is worth around USD 66 million.
