LG Uplus' Q4 revenues grow 7%

South Korean communications provider LG Uplus moved to a net profit in Q4 of KRW 48.1 billion versus a net loss of KRW 11.2 billion in the year-ago quarter. Revenues went up 7 percent to KRW 2.95 trillion as service revenues jumped 13.8 percent to KRW 2.06 trillion. Handset revenues, however, slipped 6 percent to KRW 883.5 billion and rental revenues were down 23.4 percent at KRW 3.3 billion. EBITDA grew 4.5 percent to KRW 465.5 billion but EBITDA margin decreased by 2 percentage points to 22.6 percent.
