LG Uplus, Qualcomm to power IoT projects by Korean startups

South Korean mobile operator LG Uplus will cooperate with Qualcomm to support South Korean startups, especially those with business projects related to IoT technologies. LG Uplus and Qualcomm will invest USD 100,000 each for IoT-related projects proposed by South Korean startups, Yonhap news agency reports. LG Uplus said examples of such projects include a robot equipped with a LTE network platform.
