LG Uplus to open 5G AR gallery at Seoul subway station in August

South Korean mobile operator LG Uplus will launch a 5G-based art gallery at a subway station in Seoul. Uplus signed an agreement with Seoul Metro, which supervises the Seoul metropolitan area's subway system, to open an art gallery dubbed 'U+ 5G Gallery' at Gongdeok Station, The Korea Times reports. Starting August, Gongdeok Station visitors will be able to admire art pieces using a 5G artificial reality app developed by LG Uplus.
