Liberty Global confirms end of discussions with Sunrise over takeover of UPC Switzerland

Liberty Global announced that it has terminated discussions regarding the takeover of UPC Switzerland by Sunrise. Mike Fries, the CEO of Liberty Global, said that the company showed "significant flexibility" on the terms of the deal, but the board of directors at Sunrise and its largest shareholder Freenet "cannot agree among themselves on the best path forward".
