Liberty Global streams solar eclipse in 360 degrees

Liberty Global live streamed the recent solar eclipse using 360 degree technology. The event was filmed from the town of Coyhaique in Chile using a specially-installed fibre connection. It was made available on Liberty Global's YouTube channel and other social media channels on 26 February. Viewers wearing a virtual reality headset such as a Google Cardboard, Samsung Gear, or Oculus Rift will be able to immerse themselves in the event. Viewers without headsets will be able to enjoy the 360 degree experience on their smartphones or tablets by moving the device around as they are watching,
