Libya's LPTIC reaches deal with Ericsson on network development and training

Monday 2 March 2020 | 11:12 CET | News
The state-run Libyan Post and Telecommunications Information Technology Company (LPTIC), which owns mobile operators Al-Madar and Libyana and the ISP Libya Telecoms and Technology (LTT), has signed an agreement with Ericsson. The Herald reported that they will develop an integrated plan of action for the maintenance and development of the networks and infrastructure of the companies. A large part of the infrastructure has been seriously damaged as a result of Libya's wars since the 2011 revolt that overthrew the Qaddafi regime.
