Ukrainian operator Lifecell has signed a memorandum on the shared use of telecommunications infrastructure to provide LTE services in rural areas with mobile operators Vodafone Ukraine and Kyivstar. The cooperation is expected to accelerate the deployment of 4G networks on the LTE-900 band across the country.
The plan is to share use of both passive and active telecommunications infrastructure.
The memorandum had already been signed by Vodafone Ukraine and Kyivstar.
