Line Pay to invest in e-payment service provider iPass

Line Biz+ Taiwan, the operator of Line Pay in Taiwan, has announced it will invest in and become a major shareholder of iPass, an electronic stored value card and electronic payment service provider. Through this investment, Line Pay will extend its business to the electronic payment service and aims to accelerate the development of related services throughout this year. Line Pay and iPass will work together in the domains of electronic stored value cards and electronic payments, and plan to develop related applications their customers.
