Liquid Telecom bond offering seeks to raise USD 600 mln with USD 50 mln commitment by EAIF

The Emerging Africa Infrastructure Fund (EAIF), a Private Infrastructure Development Group (PIDG), has committed to buy up to USD 50 million of a bond issue by Liquid Telecom that was launched on 22 February. The bond aims to raise USD 600 million to refinance existing debt and for corporate purposes. The issuer will be the wholly owned subsidiary Liquid Telecommunications Financing.
