Lithuanian govt advisor says list of reliable 5G suppliers possible

Lithuania could establish a list of reliable suppliers of 5G equipment, Darius Kuliesius, the senior advisor to the Lithuanian president, said to local radio station Ziniu Radijas. Under the current legislation, a special commission evaluates important infrastructure and investments for potential national security issues, and 5G networks are among the equipment covered by mandatory checks. Expanding the regulation to allow for a list of reliable or suspect suppliers could be a more efficient solution for procurement in future, the advisor said. A wide range of criteria would need to be used
