Localisation data from Orange mobile network helps French researchers fight pandemic

French public research organization Inserm announced that it is carrying out a study on the Covid-19 pandemic that will rely on aggregated and anonymised information supplied by Orange. This analysis will enable researchers to infer the extent to which users connected via the Orange mobile network are moving during the lockdown imposed in the country.
