Long-form video emerging on mobile networks - Sandvine

Long-form video will make its move onto mobile networks this year, according to Dave Caputo, CEO of fixed and mobile broadand network solutions provider Sandvine. The home roaming phenomenon, whereby subscribers voluntarily offload mobile traffic onto Wi-Fi has continued this year. The company's latest Global Internet Phenomena report found that Apple devices now represent 35 percent of all audio and video streaming on home networks in North America.
