LoopPay introduces new card and iPhone case for US consumers

Mobile payments services provider LoopPay has unveiled a new card and case that it says are accepted at 40 times more places than Apple Pay. The company's LoopPay Card and CardCase were launched at the Money 20/20 event in Las Vegas and can be used at over 10 million merchants in the US, compared to the current 220,000 locations that accept Apple Pay. LoopPay supports all major US credit cards as it uses the company's own Magnetic Secure Transmission (MST) technology rather than NFC, Bluetooth or QR codes that require new point-of-sale (POS) terminals.
