LTE speeds will differentiate mobile from Wi-Fi

Mobile operators face a major challenge: how can they turn the exponential growth in data traffic into more revenues? While data revenues have grown on average 11 percent since 2011, data traffic has grown by a factor of 3.5, driven by the launch of 4G. To keep up, major investments are required, and these are proving difficult to support when sales are only stable. Telecompaper CEO Ed Achterberg posed the question at the introduction of the company's Mobiel 2014 conference, and also attempted to provide an answer. "4G is not just 3G but a bit faster. It is something completely different."
