Luxembourg postpones 26 GHz spectrum award on lack of interest

The government of Luxembourg has decided to reschedule the planned award of 26 GHz spectrum for 5G use, after reviewing the feedback gathered from the consultation carried out during the fourth quarter of 2020. The communication and media ministry received views from nine stakeholders and concluded that there is interest in principle in the medium term, but no immediate demand for 26 GHz frequencies.
