Lyca launches LycaTV OTT service

UK-based Lyca, whose main division is MVNO Lycamobile, has launched the LycaTV OTT service. The company said its new service will offer more than 450 channels in 20 languages, including over 1,250 Bollywood classics from Eros. All LycaTV content is available on mobile devices, smart TVs, desktops or streaming players. They include live TV, 7-day catch-up and on-demand content. 

There are nine channel packages, African, Chinese, Filipino, Greek, Polish, Sinhala, South Korean, Tamil and Vietnamese. The service is available in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the UK and the US. 

In the UK, all packages except Filipino cost GBP 9.99 a month, or GBP 99 for a year. Customers who choose the pay monthly option must buy a GBP 49 Lyca STB. The device is included in the one-year subscription. The Filipino package costs GBP 14.99 for a month or GBP 149.99 for a year.
