Lyse announces merger of Viken Fiber with Fiber1

Norwegian regional provider Lyse said it will be the largest shareholder in a new company formed by the merger of Viken Fiber and Fiber1. The two companies deploy, operate and maintain fibre infrastructure and supply Altibox IPTV services in 70 boroughs in eastern Norway. The merged company will trade under the Viken Fiber name and will have its HQ in Drammen.
