M-net to expand FTTH network in Weitnau

German regional network operator M-net said it has signed an agreement with regional energy supply company Allgaeu Ueberlandwerk (AUW) to set up a fibre-optic network in the municipality of Weitnau in the district Oberallgaeu in Bavaria. The company will provide residents and companies with bandwidths of up to 1 Gbps in the future.
