Macedonia gets Cyrillic internet domain

Macedonia now has its own national Cyrillic internet domain '.mkd' approved by ICANN, reports Kapital. As a result, anyone interested can register websites in the Cyrillic alphabet, the characteristic letters of the Macedonian alphabet. Macedonia is the fifth country, besides Russia, Serbia, Kazakhstan, and Mongolia, that will have a Cyrillic version of the national internet domain.
