Macquarie launches Canberra data centre, invests AUD 17 mln

Macquarie Data Centres and Macquarie Government, part of Australia's Macquarie Telecom Group, have launched the Intellicentre 5 (IC5) data centre in Canberra. The facility is purpose-built to house the most highly classified Australian government workloads, Macquarie reports. Overall investments in the data centre deployment reached AUD 17 million.
