Magine TV ceases Spanish operations

OTT TV provider Magine TV has announced that it will be no longer be offering its services in Spain starting on 01 February. The company launched its beta version in Spain in July 2013, having signed distribution agreements with international media groups such as Viacom, Chello Multicanal, National Geographic Channel and Cosmopolitan. However, Magine was unable to reach deals with Spain's main public and private broadcasting groups and has taken the decision to stop beta testing.
