Magnet expands free public Wi-Fi in Galway

Friday 1 September 2017 | 10:56 CET | News
Irish operator Magnet Networks is working with the business community in Galway to expand free public Wi-Fi across the city centre, reports RTE. The project will see the Wi-Fi corridor run from Spanish Arch to Eyre Square. Magnet has provided free Wi-Fi at Spanish Arch for the last year since the Galway Food Festival. The project is funded by allowing local businesses to place ads on the log-in page, with promotional offers sent to users after they log in.
