Russian cloud platform Mail.ru Cloud Solutions (MCS), a subsidiary of internet company Mail.ru Group, has opened a data centre in Amsterdam. MCS will start providing cloud services in Europe, the first Russian company to supply cloud services from a European-based data centre.
the Russian and European cloud infrastructure of MCS are inter-connected. Customers will be able to store personal data of their Europe-based users at the data centre located in the EU. MCS can also help businesses scale up internationally.
All services from MCS, including Managed Kubernetes, DBaaS, Big Data as a Service, cloud monitoring, back-up, CDN, AntiDDoS and others, will be available in Europe.
