Maine govt signs bill banning ISPs from selling consumer data without consent

Maine Governor Janet Mills signed into law a privacy bill on 6 June that prevents Maine iSPs from using, selling or distributing consumers data without their approval. The law will become effective on 1 July. California is another state that passed its own strict privacy law in 2018.
