Majority of Dutch interested in quad-play if cheaper

Almost three-quarters of Dutch consumers are interested in switching to a quad-play subscription, if that turns out cheaper than their current fixed and mobile plans. Over half (54%) said they would switch if that meant they received more minutes or free calls with family members, according to research by the Telecompaper Consumer Panel. The research looked at consumer interest in quad-play in late 2011 and March and November 2013. On the Dutch market, KPN, Scarlet and Tele2 offer quad-play plans, while other operators offer all four services but not yet in a single subscription. Ziggo for
