Makedonski Telekom denies activation of 5G network

Makedonski Telekom has warned of false reports on social media that it activated a test 5G network and that this is having a negative impact on the health of the citizens. The operator noted that there there is no 5G network in use, and that there has been no distribution of 5G frequencies. The company said the first 5G trial took place in 2018 and tests carried out only in the laboratory last year.
