Malaysia cancels 5G spectrum licenses due to technical, legal issues

Malaysia's Communications and Multimedia Ministry has revoked the 5G spectrum licenses recently granted to major domestic operators and a private firm after controversy over the process done without a tender, Reuters reports. The Ministry announced it had cancelled the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission's decision to allocate the spectrum to the five companies.
