Manufacturers, transporters need to catch up on IoT - study

Only five percent of German manufacturing and transportation companies had made full use of the available potential of predictive maintenance and IoT services, according to a study carried out by German market research and advisory firm PAC on behalf of Deutsche Telekom and its corporate customer subsidiary T-Systems. The study surveyed 150 IT and business decision-makers from the manufacturing and transportation industries in Germany.
