Mara Phones aims to join top three smartphone brands in South Africa within 2 years

Mara Phones is aiming for a place among the top three smartphone brands in South Africa, ITWeb reported citing the newly appointed MD Sylvester Taku. To achieve this, the manufacturer will have to dislodge Samsung, Huawei or Apple, which currently hold the biggest smartphone market share on a global and local scale. It also faces competition from other brands, such as Xiaomi, Oppo and Vivo, which are already making inroads in the country.
