Thursday 27 June 2019 | 11:03 CET | News
Maroc Telecom has completed the acquisition from Millicom of 100 percent of its subsidiary Tigo Chad, following the agreement signed on 14 March. The acquisition aims to consolidate the presence of Maroc Telecom in Africa, while continuing Millicom's gradual exit from Africa to focus on Latin America.  Abdeslam Ahizoune, chairman of the management board of Maroc Telecom, said the group will use its expertise to ensure the long-term development of new technologies in Chad.
