The city of Marseille, France, has launched a free Wi-Fi hotspot service in time for the summer holidays, reports DSLValley. The areas with the most tourist footfall, main public spaces and some local authority buildings will also benefit from the service. The first wave involved the building of 31 hotspots in all 16 of the city's districts, including the local university campus.
