Masmovil acquires 800 Yoigo-branded stores for EUR 78 mln - report

Spanish telecommunications group Masmovil has finalised its acquisition of Bymovil, the exclusive owner of Yoigo-branded retail stores throughout the country, for a total of EUR 78 million, reports Movilonia, citing figures from website La Informacion. In December Masmovil announced its intention to strengthen its physical distribution network by acquiring Bymovil and has now finalised the deal to take over 800 exclusive Yoigo stores distributed in 450 localities throughout Spain after watchdog CNMC approved the transaction.
