Masmovil inks deal to access Telefonica's fibre and mobile network - report

Spain's fourth largest network operator Masmovil has reached an agreement to access the fibre and mobile network of market leader Telefonica, reports business daily Expansion. Under the terms of the deal, which has yet to be confirmed by either operator, Masmovil will have indirect access to the former incumbent's fibre-optic network at a lower rate than the EUR 17.50 per line it currently pays under the NEBA local wholesale regulation.
