Masmovil issues EUR 39 mln bonds to fund fibre rollout

Spanish operator MasMovil has announced that it has issued bonds worth some EUR 39.3 million to fund the rollout of its fibre-optic network beyond the current footprint of around 1 million homes. The five-year bonds were issued by the company's MasMovil Broadband subsidiary at 103.41 percent of their nominal value. The company is looking to eventually extend its fibre-optic footprint to around 10 million homes thanks to the network access agreement signed with Orange in October.
