The Masmovil group and Movistar (Telefonica), Spain's smallest and largest network operators, topped the country's mobile sector gains in the first six months of 2018, reports business daily Expansion. The Masmovil group with its Yoigo, Pepephone and LlamaYa brands added some 1.15 million contract and prepaid customers in the first two quarters of the year, ending June with 5.7 million users. Movistar, meanwhile, added 607,000 lines in the year to June to reach 17.9 million lines thanks above all to new lines added to Movistar Fusion contracts.
