MasMovil reaches deal to continue using Movistar network

Spanish operator MasMovil has announced an agreement to continue using the Movistar mobile network of Telefonica even though it's reached a deal to migrate the users of newly-acquired subsidiaries Yoigo and Pepephone to the Orange Spain network starting on 01 January 2017. MasMovil announced the deal in a regulatory filing, with the aim being to ensure a gradual migration of Yoigo's 3.3 million customers to Orange's 4G network by December 2017. The three-year agreement is worth around EUR 130 million to Telefonica, according to unnamed sources cited by Expansion. MasMovil will also be able to
