Mattel expands LTE coverage in Mauritania to more cities

Mauritanian operator Mattel, controlled by Tunisie Telecom, announced the arrival of its LTE services in Zouerate, Rosso, Akjoujt and Atar, reports Agence Ecofin. These four cities join Nouadhibou and the country's capital Nouakchott, where Mattel's LTE network has been available for the last nine months. Mauritania awarded LTE licences to Mattel and its two main rivals, Chinguitel and Mauritel, at the end of October 2020.
