Maxcom Q2 revenues down 37% on lower wholesale activity

Mexican triple-play operator Maxcom Telecomunicaciones reported revenues of MXN 230 million in the second quarter of 2020, down 37 percent year on year and 6 percent sequentially due substantially decreased wholesale activity. Consolidated EBITDA for the quarter was MXN 50 million, down 15 percent year on year, while the company's operating loss widened to MXN 61 million compared to a MXN 48 million loss in Q2 2020, in part deriving from expenses associated with personnel restructuring.
